In most cars, you would be able to fold your back seats down. Look at the top right and left corners of your back seat and search for the clips that hold the back seat. When you find those clips, unhook them and fold your back seat down. This will give you room to go inside the trunk to release the trunk latch or to look for your key.

3) TAKE DOWN THE ARMREST PILLOW

You would be surprised to know that behind the armrest pillow, there is an open square to help you to reach the trunk in case you get locked out. It is not mandatory to have in any car, but only some of them. Pull down the armrest pillow in the middle of the back seat and check if you have this open space. If you do have, pull the yellow plastic handle to release the trunk latch.

4) OVERRIDE YOUR LOCK MECHANISM

This method does not always work but worth a try. Simply disconnect the two cables of plus and minus from your battery. Touch those two cables with one another for 30 seconds. Finally, touch the battery of your car with those two cables exactly at the same time. You can also shortage the fuse of the trunk release, so it will popup the trunk lid.
